About the Campaign

Charting our Future: A Campaign for Education & Innovation

The Seaside School Board of Directors approved a motion during the Thursday, October 17th board meeting to no longer move forward with an elementary school expansion at our Seaside campus at this time.

Unfortunately, limited space in Seaside and recent legislation changes regarding safety/security requirements for charter schools, led to this outcome.

The Seaside Schools, Inc. plans to move forward with a renewed case for support.

The Campaign for Education & Innovation will be driven not only by short-term needs, but also by a plan of what the future will hold for our Schools.

We are truly Charting the Future for all of our children.

This project includes:

  • Building new classrooms and renovating our current building to accommodate an increased number of 5th through 8th grade students
  • Adding program space that will be utilized by both the schools and community in the Seaside neighborhood
  • Securing a permanent home for our Seacoast High School Students will continue to be a priority

Further expanding and improving our buildings allows us to provide a life-changing experience for students across the region.

We ask that you remain committed and patient as we chart our plans. We are intentionally taking the time to ensure the investment is sound, united and represents the Seaside Way.

Our future depends on all of you!

Impact

This public statement of your support of the campaign objectives will greatly bolster our effort.

Consider the many ways your gift will make an impact:

  • Provide additional educational opportunities for children in Walton County
  • Create an exceptional awareness for our current needs, including more space and technology
  • Challenge campaign leaders, community members and friends
  • Generate momentum for a successful campaign
  • Increase our ability to attract new donors and inspire others to support Seaside

How to Help

Gift Structure

Because of the magnitude of our objectives, we encourage you to consider a major gift to the campaign. In order to maximize your participation, gifts can be structured over a five-year pledge period. Gifts in honor or in memory of others, as well as business and family gifts, are welcome. Recognition in such cases will be given to both the donor and the honoree.

Tax-Deductible Gifts

Gifts to the campaign are 100% tax deductible through the Seaside School Foundation. As such, the Foundation can accept gifts of stock or other appreciated assets, planned gifts, company matching gifts and/or private foundation contributions.

Pay it Forward

Your investment in the Seaside School will directly impact the lives of our current and future students. An investment in education is an investment in the future of young lives, as well as our community. Your support will promote a legacy upon which to build an even stronger community of educated, passionate leaders. The commitment you make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a ripple effect on the lives of students for years to come.
