Taste of the Race
Proceeds from your purchase and participation in our annual Taste of the Race event directly supports our culinary program at the Seaside Neighborhood School. Through this opportunity students will have the opportunity to continue to expand their knowledge about food and healthy habits in our very own Seaside Neighborhood School Culinary Garden.

Virtual 5K + Half Marathon
In an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and prioritize the health and safety of participants, the Seaside School and Seaside School Foundation have made the decision to proceed with a VIRTUAL Half Marathon & 5K event that will be open February 1st-28th, 2021.
Please know that the entire team has worked tirelessly to find a way forward to produce the 19th annual event but have had to make the difficult decision to not move forward with the traditional in-person event. Numerous scenarios were explored to produce an event that will be safe for all and meet our high event standards. All scenarios led the planning committee and leadership team to conclude the event would be unable to proceed in a manner that our valued participants have come to expect. We simply cannot offer a traditional race in a manner where the safety and security of our runners, volunteers, staff, partners and spectators is satisfactorily achieved.
